libcanlock2 software package provides library for creating and verifying Usenet cancel locks, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcanlock2
libcanlock2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcanlock2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcanlock2 *
You will get with libcanlock2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
